Inspired by a brick archway inside the home, this outdoor
living environment played off of repeating the shape of the arch on both
the horizontal and the vertical planes. This design also introduced fire
as an architectural focal point. This west facing patio was a prime opportunity
for integrating an overhead structure for entertaining, day or night.
Designed for room to experiment with several furniture arrangements, these
multilevel patios add unique dimensions to the different functionality
of each space, and add moods of intimacy no matter where the evening takes
place. Before and after photos show the transformation of a typical patio
into a place for entertaining luxury!
